Job Description (JD) / Role & Responsibility

  • Developing and executing a sales expansion strategy to drive consistent growth by acquiring new customers, maintaining ASP, securing referral business, implementing market penetration tactics, conducting market research, identifying potential leads, analysing competitors, driving branding initiatives in exhibitions and events, and mentoring the team to achieve targets.

Business Generation:

  • Drive lead generation and develop a strong network of high-value customers to secure repeat business and long-term partnerships
  • Leading the team to achieve individual sales targets and ensuring closure of deal.
  • Develop sales network keeping focus on organizational goals and product specific strategies
  • Should be able to on-board customers with strong financial health and creditworthiness, maintaining ASP across product ranges.
  • Generate new business opportunities in South Gujarat Market, using a consultative approach to meet sales targets.
  • Should be able to keep performance at a satisfactory level and should be self-motivated.
  • Structural reporting to management about potential opportunities and estimated timeline of closure of leads

Credit Control:

  • To ensure timely collection and follow ups as per defined timeline for the entire sales team
  • To ensure proactive follow up with customers for credit limits update regularly before reorder..

Customer Support and Team Coordination:

  • Focus on self-created client retention and increase in business
  • Manage prompt issue resolution having coordination with dispatch and production team
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer feedback and provide sales updates. Lead customer delight initiatives to strengthen relationships, enhance customer retention, and drive increased business volumes.

Strategic Focus

  • Ideate market penetration strategies and competitor analysis
  • Maintain accurate sales MIS and reports, focusing on sales performance, client credit control, and market conditions.
  • To ensure SOPs are followed across all the levels for better productivity and work flow
  • To contribute diligently towards reformation of SOPs related to sales operations
